NCOC KaiNiue Signature Dish Competition:
We are currently taking applications for our KaiNiue – Signature Dish 2014 Competition.
We are inviting cooks of all ages from all over Niue to get creative in the kitchen and come up with the dish you think could be the 2014 Niue Signature Dish!
Applications for this competition are open from Monday 25 August and close Friday 5 September. The finalists will be selected from the applications on Monday 8 September and informed on the same day.
Shortlisted finalists will be required to submit a sample of their dish (as a blind tasting) to the Chamber office at midday on Friday 12 September where an independent KaiNiue panel will judge.
The three finalists from the sampling will be informed on Monday 15 September and invited to the KaiNiue Breakfast on the Monday 22 September where they will prepare and present their plates and the story behind it to the guest panel of judges;

ai??? Robert Oliver (Chef/ Author Ambassador Chef, Le Cordon Bleu, New Zealand and the Pacific Islands)
The winner will be informed after the breakfast and invited to the Gala Dinner.
Prize: 1x Return ticket to New Zealand courtesy of Peleniai??i??s Travel (conditions apply) and a ticket for two to the Food Festival Gala Dinner (valued at $200.00) on the 22 September 2014 valued at over $1,000.00!
ai??? You must use at least 80% of locally sourced ingredients
ai??? Your dish must be distinctively Niuean but different to anything that is normally available
ai??? All items presented on the dish must be edible
ai??? Dish must be a main meal from a 3 course meal- entree, main or dessert
