Kaloama or Goat Fish is a Niuean delicacy that only comes during a specific period in the year for a week or two and this year, our office made sure to take part in fishing for this delicacy. Every day after work, Nise-marie Jackson and myself (Roxathina Falepeau) were down in Alofi fishing for our dinner. It was awesome!
Everyone got in on the action from grandparents to children.
Have you tried it? The next time you are in Niue, ask a local how it’s done and join in on the fun! 🙂
P.s – A few photos of our fishing adventures.
